Many shared that having seen how Cebuanos in difficult situations still manage to smile and be friendly, they feel that they too should pledge to smile often and be grateful for all their blessings. Another common reflection shared was how the experiences have opened their eyes to the harsh realities of the third world and that it is important for them to commit in their own ways to be an instrument or bridge for change and help to reach those in dire need in the Philippines.
